Training on applying internal control mechanism and codes of conduct in business in Thai Nguyen province
The board of management plays a key in setting strategy, vision, and core values as well as building trust and business culture. A good manager is not only good at management skills but also is able to consider, predict, and assess changes in business environment to propose appropriate reforms for business survival and development.
To this end, a manager should effectively oversee all activities by designing strong internal controls and applying them effectively. In addition, in the context of a market economy and globalisation, building a robust business cculture is an essential task and should be maintained throughout a company’s operations. Therefore, a manager should build business culture through the development of a code of conduct, shaping the firm’s leadership style and working style of staff.
That is the main reason for designing the training program “Guidance on the application of Internal control System and Code of conduct in business” within the framework of the “Government-Business Integrity Initiative –GBII”, implemented by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) under the Regional project on “Promoting a Fair Environment in ASEAN” administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and and sponsored by the UK Prosperity fund. Therefore, SDforB in cooperation with Thai Nguyen Women Business Association held this training course on Thursday, 19th November, 2020 (01 day from 8a.m to 5p.m) in Dong A Plaza Hotel (Location: 668 Phan Dinh Phung Street, Dong Quang Ward, Thai Nguyen City)
Target audience:
- Board of Directors, Board of Management;
- Head of division and Supervisory Board staff , internal audit division, legal department;
- Head of division and accounting-finance staff;
- Head of division who have limited understanding on internal control system and code of conduct;
- Other relevant personnel.
Expected experts: Highly experienced experts from Academy of finance.
The training aims to support businesses and does not charge any entry fees. At the program, documents, tea breaks and luncheon are provided. Each company registers 01 participant.
