Training on applying internal control mechanism and codes of conduct in business in Thanh Hoa province
Development and application of internal controls and codes of conduct are considered an effective mesure for good corporate governance, ensuring sustainable development through realising commitments with relevant parties.
If a business has weak internal controls and an ineffective code of conduct, its governance and control functions will be less effective, increasing opportunities for fraud or non-compliance with the laws and regulations.On the contrary, strong internal controls together with strict code of conduct will helps improve monitoring functions for the timely detection and prevention of fraud/non-compliance.
With this important meaning, the training program “Guidance on the application of Internal control System and Code of conduct in business” is designed within the framework of the « Government-Business Integrity Initiative –GBII », implemented by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and sponsored by the UK Prosperity fund under the Regional project on “Promoting a Fair Environment in ASEAN” administered by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organizing on Wednesday 25th November, 2020 (01 day from 8a.m to 5p.m) at Palms Hotel (Location: 15 Phan Chu Trinh, Dien Bien Ward, Thanh Hoa City)
Target audience:
- Board of Directors, Board of Management;
- Head of division and Supervisory Board staff , internal audit division, legal department;
- Head of division and accounting-finance staff;
- Head of division who have limited understanding on internal control system and code of conduct;
- Other relevant personnel.
Expected experts: Highly experienced experts from Academy of finance.
The training aims to support businesses and does not charge any entry fees. At the program, documents, tea breaks and luncheon are provided. Each company registers 01 participant.
